Welcome to the St Kilda Club

The St Kilda Club was established over sixty years ago, to help conserve and protect the Islands of St Kilda, and raise public awareness of their outstanding beauty, animal and plant life, artefacts, archaeology and the buildings, culture and natural history.

The St Kilda Shop on the main island of Hirta and online helps us to fund a variety of projects through the National Trust for Scotland, in relation to the conservation of the islands, over recent years we have donated more than £100,000.

A Reunion of members is held annually, and a journal, the St Kilda Mail is published each year and distributed to over 800 members worldwide.

Our next reunion will be held at Edinburgh Zoo on Saturday 16th November 2024.

St Kilda Club SCIO Update: July 2023

Following the approval of the resolutions to convert the St Kilda Club to a SCIO and to adopt the proposed new constitution at the 2022 AGM, the Board has been busy preparing the additional documentation required for the submission and the application to convert was sent to the Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator (OSCR) in early June.

We are pleased to announce that OSCR has approved our conversion from a charitable company to a SCIO and conversion will happen in July 2023. This is a seamless process. Please note that we will continue to own the Shop and its operation is unaffected by these changes.
